Beginning in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina, Penny Whisnant has shared her love of dogs with generations of clients. Often serving families for the entirety of their pup’s lifespan, Penny’s southern charm and exceptional scissoring skills keep clients coming back time and time again. Penny prides her shop on maintaining the cleanliness she expected during her time as a licensed RN and holds pet safety as her top priority. Although caring for others as a nurse was fulfilling, her love for the animals brought her back to the business to extend her legacy through daughter-in-law, Taylor.
Expanding the Legacy
Years of training as a studio artist on the coast of North Carolina led Taylor Whisnant to complete her bachelor’s of Fine Arts. Filled with artistic vision and a trained eye, she learned the fundamentals of grooming from her mother-in-law, Penny, and revitalized the family business. Taylor has since honed in her style and is often praised for her client’s excitement about being groomed. She sees the shop as her personal studio and opportunity to make every dog a true work of art. Taylor values genuine connection to her clients both human and pup and strives to deeply understand expectations and goals for a successful lifelong relationship.
